Dr. Tyner received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York University. She received her bachelor's of science degree in athletic training from The George Washington University, where she also was a four year starter on the division I Women's Varsity Tennis Team. In 2013 Meg became an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, specializing in injury prevention exercise, functional movement, athletic development, and weight loss.
During Dr. Tyner's time at NYU, she gained valuable experience in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, preventative care, and adult rehabilitation. While attaining her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at NYU, Dr. Tyner was apart of the NYU Sports Medicine staff as a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Throughout Dr. Tyner's career as a personal trainer, Certified Athletic Trainer, and Doctor of Physical Therapy Meg has gained experience working with a variety of musculoskeletal disorders and has special interest in sports rehabilitation, performance training, youth athletic development, manual therapy, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Dr. Tyner is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In her free time, Dr, Tyner stays active playing intramural tennis, weightlifting and cycling. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and traveling abroad.
